Our focus is Constitution based civic education for effective action.

Our meeting this month will focus on 2 issues.

“Effective Civic Action – working with State Legislators” and
“A Lean Budget – Beyond the Money -The Future of Arizonans Education.”

As your state legislators came back into session January 11th, it is time for concerned citizens to learn how to best support those who represent us and are constitutionally inclined.

We’ll lay out what we see, what we hope can happen and how you can participate.

Secondly, we have invited all candidates who are registered with the Secretary of State for the position of Superintendent of Public Instruction to attend a discussion panel. We will be laying an understanding as to what the founding fathers intended for public education and we’ll see how our current education model stacks up against the ideal.

Panelists invited include:
Matt Ladner -Goldwater Institute
Margaret Dugan (R) - Candidate
Jason Williams (D) - Candidate
Beverley Ducey - Principal, Valley Classical Christian Schools
Diane Douglas - Governing Board Member Peoria School District (Ret)

Come join us at the next meeting on Feb 8th at Denny's 1 block east of I-17 on Northern.
